You can now listen to The Power Station over the internet without having to use your computer.

What is an Internet Wi-Fi Radio?

A Wi-Fi Internet radio looks just like a digital (DAB) radio except rather than pick up a signal broadcast over the air waves it picks up a wireless signal from your internet router.

While this is great it's not really convenient if you just want to listen to radio but don't want to have to switch on your computer just to listen to radio. Now you can buy a wifi internet radio and listen to these radio stations without having to switch on your computer.

Wi-Fi internet radios pick up a signal from your wireless connection which is broadcast from your wireless router. A wireless router sends out a wireless or wifi signal that you would usually use to enable to use the internet on your laptop without wires.

So to listen to Internet Radio over Wi-Fi you will need to make sure you already have a broadband internet connection and a wireless router. If you have these you can buy an Internet Wi-Fi radio.
